International Student Science Congress papers submitted must not have been previously published or currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
There should be no information identifying the author(s) anywhere in the full text. Writing the author's name anywhere in the text is strictly prohibited. If there is any information that reveals the author of the full text, the text will be eliminated without undergoing content review because it does not comply with the International Student Science Congress blind peer review policy.
The Full Paper of your submission must be between 3,000 and 8,000 words.
Abstract papers must be between 300 and 1200 words.
References throughout the entire paper must be in APA format (6th Edition). Papers using other referencing styles will not be considered. For APA format, see: APA Referencing Guide - 6th Edition
The full text must be uploaded to the congress system in Word (.doc or .docx) format. Texts uploaded in PDF format will not be accepted.
Your paper should be formatted in Times New Roman, 12-point font, with 1.5 line spacing. It should be prepared in A4 size, leaving a margin of 3 cm from the top and left and 2.5 cm from the right and bottom of the page.
Ensure that any images, photographs, graphics, tables, and figures used in the texts are of high resolution and clarity.
The submitted papers will undergo a preliminary evaluation process before being sent to the referee board. In the preliminary evaluation, the paper's plagiarism rate, suitability for academic language and style, and compliance with writing rules will be evaluated. Papers successful in the evaluation will be forwarded to the referee board.
Decisions for the papers may include:
Acceptable as it is.
Acceptable for the congress after addressing the points mentioned in the referee evaluation.
Not acceptable.
What Do Referees Pay Attention to in Full Text Evaluations?
Title and content alignment,
Relevance of literature review to the study,
Methodology used in the presentation,
Consistency between the methodology and results in the presentation,
Writing style, language, and tone of the presentation,
Contribution of the presentation to the knowledge in the field,
Scientific relevance of the presentation,
Originality of the presentation from a scientific perspective,
Overall adequacy of the presentation.
